Our location in Alameda, CA currently has an opportunity for a Product Manager, Managed Care. This is an exciting opportunity to join the market access marketing team in a rapidly growing area of medical devices.You will support the execution of payer marketing programs for the continuous and blood glucose monitoring portfolio at Abbott Diabetes Care. Addressing patient affordability and access is a critical need in the evolving managed care landscape. You will work cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams to expand accessibility of on-market and new products
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Responsible for the execution of specific marketing plans and the tactical execution of activities for customers or products to establish, enhance or distinguish coverage and access within the continuous glucose monitoring market.
Responsible for developing, recommending and implementing payer marketing programs
Aid in the development of tools and materials to support the Market Access Account teams
Manage implementation and monitoring of payer media campaigns in collaboration with third party vendors
Develop and implement customer relationship management initiatives and programs.
Understand and measure key performance metrics on media campaigns
Support and contribute to development of materials/ resources for sales meetings, conferences and trade shows.
Manage relationship with key vendors, suppliers and partners
Contribute to development of launch training programs and workshops in collaboration with Training
Participate and assist with meeting coordination and planning
Assist with creative agency management, status meetings, program schedules, and budgetary management
Able to comply with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Position is responsible to manage single project or participates on portions of multiple projects; understands concepts and applies these concepts practically with reasonable effectiveness; may function independently according to the task but is still given significant direction.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Bachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years of related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related experience. Strong presentation & communication skills, strategic planning, critical thinking and analysis of market conditions.
Experience with or exposure to sales and/or marketing in the following areas: healthcare, medical devices or medical diagnostics
