The Marketing & Communications Specialist supports the marketing and communications activities of Newcomb-Tulane college, its departments, events, programs, and initiatives. The specialist works with the Director to develop and hone a marketing and communication strategy for NTC that keeps the college relevant and engages students with our brand. The specialist ensures all communications align with Newcomb-Tulane College and university strategic branding; assists with the management and/or creation of all digital and physical publications and documents, the various NTC websites, and social media; maintains knowledge of and contributes to a robust communication calendar for NTC that outlines an extensive strategy for messaging students, faculty and staff about NTC events, programs and initiatives; and analyzes the performance of NTC marketing and communication strategies as they contribute to retention and persistence outcomes.

Experience with HTML, web editing and basic website management
Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in marketing, communications or other closely related field;
High School Diploma/Equivalent and 8’ years’ experience in marketing, communications or other closely related field.
Experience in marketing and/or communications in higher education, or relating to student success.
Experience coordinating newsletters or other publications.
