The regional marketing function is responsible for all aspects of marketing to End investors, Intermediaries and Institutions. The Marketing function includes local marketing teams based across 7 countries in Asia Pacific region handling Investment Communications, Editorial Content, Events Management, Digital Marketing, Channel Marketing, PR, Brand & Advertising. The Digital Marketing function within Regional Marketing manages all aspects of digital marketing for APAC and is set up as a centre of expertise leading strategy development, execution, training and measurement of marketing and CRM activities to drive commercial impact.
This is a newly created role that entails collaboration with Digital Distribution and Partnerships teams across the region to drive content consumption based on Schroders Partners' audience needs. Partners include digital banks, fintechs and organisations working with Schroders for content syndication purposes. As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will report into the Head of Digital Marketing - Asia Pacific who is based in Singapore. You will leverage content creation and distribution capability with social media efforts to improve the use of social platforms organically across APAC. This involves communication with the Regional Content Marketing Lead, local marketing teams, creative/social media agencies and internal analytics teams to optimise campaigns and drive success.
1. Partner programs:
Support the Regional and Local Marketing Teams on digital distribution partnership activities in the areas of content syndication, marketing solutions, analytics/insights and driving innovative end-investor educational initiatives and campaigns.
2. Digital content creation and syndication:
Collaborate with Digital Distribution and Partnership team and Regional Content Lead on appropriate formats for channel-specific distribution (web/app/mobile/API etc), content direction and surfacing greater opportunities for syndication based on data insights and audience segments.
Create infographics, videos, podcasts and other content formats in conjunction with regional marketing and demand generation initiatives.
Seek out avenues of content syndication with new and existing partners, publishers, websites and platforms, with the aim of building brand preference for Schroders, supporting the promotion of focus products and driving business growth.
3. Social media:
Work with local marketing teams in the implementation of social media best practices, including platform training, employee advocacy, community management, organic posting, creative/content development, agency management and campaign monitoring and measurement of KPIs.
Support social media activity across regional campaigns and events, through the repurposing of content, development of content calendars, communication of brand/product messages, and analysis of results.
What you'll be like
At least 4 years of relevant experience in digital, social media and content marketing in an agency or in-house environment.
Experience working in an asset management or financial services background
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Enjoys working in a team as well as with the ability to use own initiative and a self-starter.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels of seniority and across multiple countries.
Ability to adopt a results and action orientated approach and drive projects through to completion.
