The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the assistant director for outbound sales and marketing. This position will oversee the development, coordination and implementation of marketing plans and sales campaigns for UTA athletics. The successful candidate will be a key team player in building revenue generation, game day atmosphere, branding and community/campus outreach.
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or a related field. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; six individual programs with individual needs (resource allocation). Problem solver under pressure and in challenging circumstances. An interest in developing the capabilities of other people; patience in teaching and training. Demonstrated ability to motivate student workers to feel part of a team and make a significant contribution. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Independent worker, self-starter. Able to create strong relationships (special events, ticket office, communications, corporate partners, etc.).
