We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Global Marketing organization focused on Data Center Solutions (DCS). This role will support the overall marketing strategy for DCS, focusing on both a global and regional audience. Specifically, this role will focus on building CBRE's brand awareness in this sector, managing digital channel strategy, supporting brand activation initiatives, and bringing to market key thought leadership content for the business.
Brand activation and content development
Develop thought leadership content to support brand positioning initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to develop positioning and craft materials around key Data Center topics
Partner with internal shared services teams to bring thought leadership content to market, aligning to CBRE's core message themes and activating to a global audience
Maintain brand activation performance reporting with a focus on KPIs showing overall reach and impact to the business.
Translate global strategies into regional activation plans, aligning with local leaders to ensure content and initiatives are adapted to meet the needs of their markets.
Manage CBRE presence at key industry events and within key industry organizations with the goal of achieving maximum visibility for CBRE's talent and brand. Position key thought leaders for speaking opportunities and managing content development aligned to event audience and themes.
Digital channel management and social media
Develop strategy for social channels (emphasis on LinkedIn and Twitter), creating content and managing channel performance across a global audience.
Develop and manage editorial calendar, taking into consideration ongoing campaign needs, market events and integration of key CBRE brand messages
Create targeting and audience management strategies for key market segments, ensuring the most relevant messages are served to the right customers with the right frequency across all digital channels (social, email, web, etc.)
Manage digital advertising buys, partnering with design team for creative development, measuring performance and conducting regular analysis of effectiveness
Manage content for relevant pages on CBRE's global website, including development of campaign-specific lead generation content
Sales enablement and marketing collateral management
Create sales toolkits to support major campaign initiatives, translating marketing initiatives into client touch-point opportunities while ensuring the sales team can effectively bring to market key thought leadership
Develop activation-ready content (both static and dynamic media) bringing to life case studies, featuring business achievements, and highlighting talent within the DCS business
Act as a liaison to local Bid Managers, partnering to regionalize key content and marketing materials for use during the pursuit process
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
