What you’ll be doing...
Verizon continues to make massive investments in new technologies that drive high value for the business marketplace. This presents a significant opportunity to deliver meaningful outcomes and best in class experiences for our customers. In order to do this, we must have the highest caliber product marketing talent to lead the way. You will build, manage, and own solution-based marketing programs for Verizon’s Business Group.
Designing marketing programs to sell newly launched product solutions to the appropriate business segments.
Ensuring marketing programs have appropriate level of supporting materials such as messaging, pricing, offers, distribution channel support, and KPIs.
Defining clear actions to drive results and ensuring those results are tracked to foster accountability.
Understanding the solutions financial results sales targets and developing appropriate plans and programs that drive growth and retention efforts for the business.
Providing guidance and direction to adjust Marketing programs based upon sales successes, customer feedback, and evolving market trends.
Serving as the interface into Product Management, providing customer and market feedback that may influence features and product components.
Providing input and direction to Training, Sales Operations, Go-to-Market, Marketing Communications, on the tools needed to target a given market segment.
What we’re looking for...
You are an impactful, highly motivated, creative, and collaborative leader experienced in creating new markets, and motivating matrixed teams to deliver results. You excel at storytelling and can link product requirements to customer outcomes.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Five or more years of experience in product marketing, product management experience, or marketing.
Experience marketing to business customers, small, medium or enterprise level.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Even better if you have:
A degree, Master's degree preferred.
Strong oral and communication skills.
Experience with telecommunications products such as, network connectivity and management, contact center and collaboration, and cyber security.
