SUMMARY OF POSITION: Working across the organization, this position ensures strong engagement of members and prospects through optimized technology, excellent customer service, effective communications, and a focus on relationship building and peer connections. This position is the lead for technology that supports the membership and marketing functions and is an important contributor as it relates to member recruitment, member engagement and evaluation of engagement and communication strategies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement and track a comprehensive community engagement strategy across ACCP audiences, with an emphasis on new members and low engaged members
Develop, implement, track and refine automated email campaigns that move prospects and members through the membership journey
Support senior staff in membership prospecting and acquisition process
Manage member online communities platform (Higher Logic), nurture member participation and peer sharing and partner with Content & Learning team to ensure key topics are being addressed in ways that members find highly valuable
Manage benchmarking directory and member directory
Manages the ACCP Job Board
Stay abreast of association membership and marketing trends
Serve as association management system (Nimble AMS) administrator serving as key liaison between staff and vendor.
Serve as website manager (WordPress) working with appropriate members of the team and vendor to maintain and update the website
Oversee the integration of the association website, AMS, and online communities platform (Higher Logic)
Manages SEO for the website with support from Sr. Marketing Manager
Train team members on how to use the AMS in ways most relevant to their roles and responsibilities
Develop and maintain Membership and Marketing team dashboards and reports in Nimble AMS that support data-driven decision making
Monitor Google Analytics and shares trends
Manage digital advertising platform (Feathr) and support Membership and Marketing team on implementation of digital advertising strategy
Design digital ads for marketing campaigns
Manage 3BL Widget and other media partnerships on website
Partner with Sr. Marketing Manager on implementation of social media strategy
Design and ensure effective presentation of member communications and marketing material
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related area.
5-7 years of previous work experience in a marketing or membership professional role. Association experience a plus.
Database management experience with a strong preference of Salesforce experience
Excellent written and oral communications skills, presentation experience a plus
Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and outside resources
Strong relationship-building skills, able to work well with internal and external customers
Able to work independently with limited supervision
Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on quality
Strong creative and strategic thinking skills
Aptitude and interest in learning new technologies
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Higher Logic experience a plus
Design experience a plus
Telecommuting is allowed.
