The Marketing Manager will develop and execute prioritized marketing activities directed to B2B2C customers, consumers, and manufacturers to support our Consumer Markets business. This position is responsible for showing strategic thinking and excellent execution of marketing activities across our Consumer Markets business to market McKesson's services to B2B resellers and manufacturers. This individual will work closely with various functions such as segment marketing, legal, category management, sales, merchandising, and marketing analytics to ensure alignment. It includes management of both directly assigned and supportive work for e-commerce marketing of the Consumer Markets team.
Work includes project management, campaign management, advertising, tradeshow strategy, and content marketing. Key goals will be milestone-driven (project launches and completions), top funnel metrics (traffic, impressions, engagements, and leads) and key lag metrics (revenue, lead conversions). Individual in this role will:
Provide resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems.

Contribute to the development and achievement of department goals
Represent team, department and organization on relevant projects
Lead select projects independently or with minimal supervision
Campaign and Program Management
For assigned Marketing and Advertising Campaigns, responsible for: Campaign planning with Consumer team: scope, goal setting, target identification, channel planning, scheduling / maintaining calendar, stakeholder alignment; Managing to budget and timeline; Communication to key stakeholders and collaborators; Creative brief development; Measurement/reporting
Retailer Marketing Support: Ideation and management of Consumer focused product promotions to support omni-channel and pure play retail customers in their own consumer outreach; Manage creation and distribution of merchandising materials to support retailers in expanding health categories
For select Program Management: Maintenance and required updates of existing components; Enhancements roadmap; Manage and foster relationships with business partners
Trade show strategy and execution
For specific industry association tradeshows, responsible for: messaging strategy to reflect McKesson/SimplyMedical brand and align with individual consumer or manufacturer partner needs; working with tradeshow coordinator to manage to timeline and budget
Support marketing research and customer feedback channels to gain customer understanding
Work with segment marketers and Consumer team to build the strategy for e-commerce growth; to build content agenda, determine targets and pain points / solutions resulting in 12 month marketing plan
Develop integrated marketing tactics based on customer needs
Collaborate with Digital teams to integrate campaigns across platforms (web, email, webinar, etc.)
Manage calendar and track key metrics
Champion brand guidelines
Utilize digital tools in decision making and communications, including analytics, test & target
Additional Support as assigned
Provide recommendations on marketing processes/workflow efficiencies related to role
Opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement projects across Marketing
Minimum Requirements Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Relevant consumer e-commerce marketing experience
Strong communication skills required and demonstrated ability to operate in new/emerging business that involves white-space, needs to have a drive for results and ability to work autonomously
Demonstrated success managing multiple projects while leading/aligning multiple stakeholders
Experience in digital departments of omni-channel retailers
Understanding of retail catalog development and digital merchandising
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience and success working in a sales-driven marketing organization Demonstrated success in communicating with mid-and senior leadership level (Director, VPs, SVPs) of various functions (Marketing, Sales, others)
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with a natural attention to detail
Self-driven individual - seeks information on their own
Demonstrated development of recommendations and solid approaches to provide solutions
Strong program development and management experience
Excellent project management skills
Experience working within Salesforce.com
Strong PowerPoint skills (i.e. PowerPoint ninja)
Budget management experience
Fundamental quantitative/analytical skills
Education 4-year degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, English or related field
General Office Demands
Ability to travel domestically up to 15%
