Strategy & Implementation (30%)
• Deliver revenue, profit, and share objectives through marketing activation that uniquely resonates with US consumers and is consistent with the global brand framework • Lead the team to develop the US go-to-market strategy, the local communication strategy, and execution plans for core audiences and franchises • Drive marketing innovation agenda, breakthrough media performance, and test & learn focus • Drive efficiency and effectiveness in the execution of local marketing plans in the US market • Collaborate with the other marketing leaders to optimize platform integration, agency relationships, and performance frameworks, ensuring alignment of activation plans with overall media and brand strategies • Foster strong internal relationship with the regional brand marketing leads to champion global direction and share/adopt standard methodology • Provide expertise to drive the overall coherence of US marketing strategy & business • Develop and utilize licensor partnerships – developing and executing joint business plans
US Business leadership (30%)
• Full P&L accountability core franchise businesses • Accountable for core franchise budget management, accuracy, utilization and maximization • Represent the key franchises in regular operations meetings – providing insight and corrective actions • Partner with Sales and Operations to make decisions on business critical topics • Collaborate on key forecasting processes to ensure marketing input is reflected • Drive key retailer marketing program collaboration agenda

The U.S. Marketing Department is responsible for creating and fostering consumer demand by converting consumer, shopper and market insights into compelling, creative, and innovative marketing programs that remain grounded in a strong commercial understanding and focus. This individual will join the Brand Management Team as Brand Director, heading the core kids franchise area. The role is part of the Americas Marketing Leadership Team, meaning the individual will play a meaningful role in driving both the marketing and people agenda within the team, as well as driving the overall business for the full U.S. business unit.
Do you have what it takes?
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience • MBA or equivalent in sales and marketing leadership experience preferred • 7+ Years in Brand Marketing Preferred, ideally 3+ in CPG, entertainment, or technology. • Strong team leadership experience; proven experience in crafting a vision, engaging and enabling large teams to succeed • A proven record of driving brand growth and health in a high profile consumer goods, entertainment, or tech company • Experience driving strong retail partner relationships, crafting plans and executing marketing programs to build joint commercial value • Experience of operating within matrix organization, and developing broad networks with internal and external partners • Strong media skills, including digital marketing, understanding of all major channels, critical metric setting and measurement • Additional experience in sales, digital marketing, social media or public relations preferred • Experience within kids space or industry preferred • Advanced level English required
