About the Role
The Admissions Marketing Analyst reports to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management and is responsible for driving growth of our student prospect pool and conversion to enrollment through data analysis and student recruitment marketing. This role offers a tremendous opportunity to lay a foundation for excellence. Responsibilities will encompass everything from data analysis to content generation, including, but are not limited to: discover, interpret, report, and monitor internal and external data-driven insights on effectiveness, efficiencies, and ROI on all admissions marketing projects and campaigns through detailed data analysis and assessment of admission-centric data; reports will visually represent trends and initiatives, including tables, maps, and graphs.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to:
Professionally interact with families and visitors throughout the admissions process (in person, phone, email) to develop personalized, segmented, and journey-based communications based on audience data including demographic, behavioral, and CRM.
Document key performance indicators (event conversion ratio, net promoter survey, social media engagement), patterns, trends, stories, and accountability measures, translating them into actionable insights; recommend strategies and plans to address opportunities and gaps that drive conversion through the enrollment funnel from lead acquisition to matriculation.
Model scenarios that measure effectiveness of new initiatives and isolate variables within strategies to determine impact of individual efforts within a dynamic approach to admissions marketing.
Maintain and document data and analytical processes, marketing automation and procedures, programs, and workflows.
Evaluate and assess current systems the institution utilizes, and offer recommendations on how they can be leveraged to provide additional student recruitment opportunities as well as maximizing staff utility
Develop and execute outbound communications, deploy email, SMS, and other campaigns of varying frequency and mechanisms in collaboration with the Director of Enrollment Management and Director of Communications.
Develop, maintain, and assist with analytical and reporting needs within Admission staff users, communication plans, and campus partners.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, including administrative support to the admissions team (i.e., phones, calendar, scheduling).

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business Administration or related subject area
At least three years of full-time work experience supporting admissions program is highly desirable
Detail oriented; exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Demonstrated ability of judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
Proficiency with database management, email marketing and social media platforms, web content management systems, and Google Analytics
Working knowledge of Blackbaud, Ravenna systems, and the Standard Application Online (SAO) highly desirable
Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) and possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, faculty, staff, parents, and other stakeholders
Demonstrated knowledge in marketing principles, theories, and methods
Ability to plan, organize, develop, and conduct comprehensive promotions and initiatives
Understanding of or familiarity with independent school or university enrollment highly desirable
History of continued education or professional development
Ability to be flexible, effectively manage stress, and adapt to changing work priorities and assignments, including working occasional nights and weekends as required
