The National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) has an exceptional opportunity for a creative, tech-savvy marketing pro.
As Manager of Marketing and Technology, you’ll be a key steward of our brand. You’ll be responsible for leading NACE’s marketing, communications and external outreach efforts. You’ll collaborate with industry experts to create and curate relevant written, visual and video content. You’ll use your strong creative skills to develop vibrant campaigns and analyze the performance of our content and marketing strategies to optimize our results.
You’ll also oversee key pieces of NACE’s technology platform, including our content management system, e-marketing systems, social media tools and association management system. You'll help us continue to improve and expand our technology systems to unify the platforms used by NACE and our 40+ chapters, while ensuring the integrity of our data
You will also:
Collaborate with team members on marketing efforts across all platforms and products, including membership, events, education, certification and industry partnerships.
Manage the NACE website and associated integrations.
Collaborate on content strategy, research, and produce and curate written and visual content across channels (newsletters, website, NACE blog and social media).
Manage media relations and oversee publicity activities including press releases.
Develop and manage social media strategy and create and design internal and external social media and web-based communications.
Work with technology vendors to manage and further develop the functionality and user experience of our technology platforms, including website, association management system, and marketing tools.
Plan and execute marketing and promotion of NACE events and NACE participation at other industry conferences and trade shows, including print and digital. Manage event technology including the conference app.
Provide marketing and communication support to the Foundation of NACE.
Track and report on marketing and communications to optimize the effectiveness of content and marketing strategies.
Provide staff support to committees as assigned.
3+ years of experience at a trade or professional association required. Associate degree or higher in a relevant discipline, or a combination of work experience and other credentials. Knowledge of basic photo and graphics editing, digital marketing tools and WordPress are required. You should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and a strong desire to learn and grow in a team environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must. Knowledge of MemberSuite preferred.
You must be able to travel for work occasionally and perform occasional work on weekends.
