Duties include but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement an impactful marketing plan, including but not limited to brand management, advertising, social media, graphic design, content development, and multimedia productions.
• Provide technical and administrative oversight in the daily operations of the department. 
• Manage the buying, scheduling and placement of advertising in various media format.
• Create marketing materials.
• Provide strategic communication counsel to the college leadership team.
• Provide direct management over press releases and public relations. 
• Serve as the college spokesperson in response to media inquiries.
• Manage the department's participation in college sponsored events that may take place outside of normal working hours. 
• Budget management for the department.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate departmental employees.
• Represent the college on system-wide committees

The desired applicant will have the ability to deliver impactful communications to a variety of audiences in order to meet the college's mission.  Applicant must have strong leadership skills, integrity, creativity, energy, excellent communication skills and experience with budget management.   A bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years of related experience and supervisory experience is required.  Higher education experience a plus.
