About the Opportunity:
SAIL is an innovative research-backed experiential learning digital platform developed by Northeastern University, the global leader in experiential learning. SAIL enables users to find, capture, understand, and express their academic and non academic experiences to advance their learning and career goals. We are looking for a senior marketing manager to lead marketing strategies and initiatives to drive the adoption of the SAIL framework and its digital tools across all segments of the University's educational ecosystem.
Responsibilities: Utilize innovative marketing and communications strategies to promote the adoption of the SAIL framework and its digital tools across all segments of the University's educational ecosystem Leads the development and execution of a creative and comprehensive strategic marketing plan for SAIL and its initiatives including goals, tactics, timing, and budget Optimize the positioning, messaging and marketing strategies for specific segments and target stakeholders (i.e. prospective and currently enrolled students, faculty and staff, employers, alumni, advisors etc.) Build and manage a multi-channel marketing plan to drive user acquisition, engagement and retention on both the SAIL web and mobile properties. Some of the channels you'll be focused on include: email, social, PR, brand ambassadors, and events. Lead communications efforts and ensure consistent messaging and a unique voice designed for multiple audiences across web, mobile, email, events, and PR Develop a content strategy that amplifies SAIL's benefits through product benefits, use cases and user stories that can be shared across various channels including email, landing pages, blogs and social media. Lead social media strategy with an emphasis on growing the following through authentic, unique, relevant and shareable content Creative approach to exploring and testing new acquisition channels Drive quantitative results by setting goals and measuring the impact of your efforts with a data-driven measure/learn approach Recruit and manage brand ambassadors on campus Recommend, manage and attend marketing events on and off campus. Develop and manage content strategy and calendar Experience with planning, running and optimizing paid social campaigns is an advantage Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree ideally with marketing, communications, or business emphasis
4-6 years of marketing-specific experience, preferably with in tech
A good balance of creative tendencies and analytical thinking
Hands-on experience with cross-channel marketing including email, social, paid, and content.
Demonstrated history of juggling many projects at once while delivering outcomes
Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally
Experience marketing to Higher Ed students on college campuses
Experience recruiting and managing campus brand ambassadors
