SALARY/STATUS: $16.00-$25.00 per hour DOE / Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Reporting to the Director of Cultural Arts Programs & Festivals, this position is responsible for performing marketing and administrative activities in support of the Arts & Culture department. This person will assist with program logistics, including social media outreach, program content creation, and event planning and execution. Typical duties may include but are not limited to: social media posting, newsletter creation, lay leader correspondence, travel logistics, staffing programs, timeline management, administrative support of film festivals, and budget tracking.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Previous experience working in an administrative capacity.
Previous experience in non-profit marketing, preferably in the arts, ideally with both marketing and communications responsibilities.
Previous professional social media experience.
Previous graphic design experience.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Google platform.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent customer service skills (friendly, respectful, patient).
Frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms for long periods of time.
Occasionally required to lift, pull, climb, kneel, and bend.
Regularly required to communicate.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
