The Graphic Design andMarketing Coordinator position is located within the Center for GlobalEducation. This position will create promotional materials (including but notlimited to ads, flyers, posters, envelope stuffers, and postcards) and modifyexisting materials; assist Executive Director with creating recruiting campaignmaterials; contact and work with vendors, sponsors, and UTC departments aboutthe marketing materials; prepare electronic image files for the website ande-mail campaigns; update website contents; research trends in Global Educationand marketing materials; assist other staff with presentation designs; participatein team meetings and brainstorming sessions; develop and manage the evaluationsfor each marketing materials annually; and supervise, improve and developoffice websites and newsletters. The position will also prepare, review, andanalyze a variety of marketing materials; work with international students andscholars to ensure a positive adjustment; and other duties as assigned.
The idealcandidate will possess the following:
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skillls
Required computer skills: working knowledge of internet, lnDesign,Photoshop, and Illustrator
Knowledge of Acrobat Reader, Dreamweaver, and WordPress
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software programs
Ability to work independently in deadline sensitive environment
Have an interest and knowledge in international education, globalaffairs, and its related fields
Knowledge of cross-cultural awareness and competence and effectivecommunication
Strong organizational skills
