This is a full-time, benefit eligible position and will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing/promotional plans for assigned sports to increase awareness, attendance and revenue; oversee advance coordination and management as it relates to game presentation/fan experience for assigned sports; creates and develops plans to market to campus affiliate's and students as well as coordinates and supervises the Mizzou marketing internship program; plans and assists with various community and state wide outreach programs focused on booster support to create excitement for sport and Mizzou Athletics; works with web services to monitor data to understand return on investments for marketing campaigns associated with specific programs to establish best practices; assists with social media strategies to help promote Mizzou Athletics and various sports to create revenue leads as well as to increase brand awareness and the mission of Mizzou Athletics; assist in design and distribution of printed promotional materials for all sports; performs other related duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Marketing and Revenue Generation and Assistant Director for Marketing. An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred qualifications to include a Bachelor's degree and one year of previous athletic administration experience at the collegiate or professional level with a focus on marketing, revenue generation and fan experience. Excellent communication skills and ability to sell a program or tickets through effective spoken presentation. Abilitity to work successfully in a team enviroment as well as being a self-starter. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and in stadium music programs. Preference will be given to applicants with a master's degree and/or previous college sports marketing experience and/or previous oversight of a student marketing internship program.
