The position would be based in San Diego, CA, Nashville, TN or Los Angeles, CA. Ideal candidates will be driven self-starters who are organized, efficient, and enthusiastic about joining a growing music instrument startup that is driving innovation in the guitar industry.

The role will:
Sell. The. Guitars.
Lead the execution of all consumer sales and marketing initiatives with strong business acumen and a collaborative DNA.
Build Ciari’s e-Commerce presence through development and execution of the annual marketing plan to include, but not limited to, digital marketing, social media, paid ads, strategic partnerships, SEO, public relations and events.
Develop acquisition, retention and referral strategies and campaigns across all relevant sales channels that engage and drive action with our target customer.
Drive development and enhancement of website to decrease friction along the consumer shopping experience, with a goal of driving conversion and purchase.
Develop and implement overall planning, execution and maintenance of media plans, budgets and schedules.
Develop and track effective and measurable metrics through the use of technology.
Establish the Ciari Guitars brand and premium travel guitar category positioning as a passion brand and innovator in the marketplace using social media, email campaigns, web content and public relations.
Manage and execute marketing events and tradeshows.
Continuously analyze the market and its trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Identify and implement strategic partnerships with premium trade shows and brands (music and non-music industry) to market and/or co-brand the
Manage the implementation and operation of major airport-based retail kiosks using Ciari’s Music Oasis – the first ever in-airport, staffed guitar lounge offered as a passenger service and/or in conjunction with airport arts programs.
Explore and lead expansion of “Music Oasis” business into other verticals, including fee-based “experiential music kiosks” for corporate events, trade shows and other events.
Partner with finance to create and manage budgets and forecasts to achieve sales goals.
Collaborates closely with internal and external partners to deliver marketing campaigns and lead new product launches that meet brand and business goals.
Passion for music (and ideally guitars) and innovation.
Direct product marketing experience (preferably 3+ years)

Ability and willingness to travel, attend trade shows, concerts and meetings with artists and partners to promote and grow the Ciari Guitars brand.
Undergraduate or graduate degree in marketing or related field is highly preferred.
