Job Title: Trainer & Marketing Representative Department: Professional Development Reports To: Professional Development Director FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary: Represents ABoR in brokerage relations, at industry related events, and real estate office sales meetings. Develops and administers training programs for the organization's Multiple Listing Service and Membership by performing the following duties:

• Facilitates New Member Orientations and serves as a professional development resource that provides direction on individualized training paths for career growth and sustainability. • Present and develop training classes on MLS products and services at three ABoR offices and offsite at brokerages as needed. • Coordinates appointments with brokerage offices to promote ABoR Academy, MLS courses and other association events and business. • Maintain in depth knowledge on the use of systems, databases, regulations, and has the ability to explain ABoR and ACTRIS policies, rules, and member benefits • Work with Professional Development Director to schedule classes and speaking engagements • Remains conscious of Academy and MLS course enrollments and develops marketing efforts to increase class enrollments to include promotion of ABoR classes to attendees in an effort to promote the value of professional standards. • Performs some administrative functions such as class registrations, CE reporting, preparing paperwork for classes, answering phone calls, and cross-selling classes. • Holds a high level of professional decorum • Perform other duties as assigned • Night and weekend work may be occasionally required.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Multiple Listing System and associated products and services, use of the internet and the ability to learn specialized software abilities.
Certificates and Licenses: Real Estate License preferred. Upon employment offer, candidate’s license must remain inactive within a negotiated timeline.
Additional Salary Information: ABoR offers an incentive program that could potentially offer each employee up to $5000 annually to members of the Professional Development team. This program is a way to drive and support attendance and participation in Academy class enrollments. Eligible employees must complete a 60-90 day evaluation period before the incentive is awarded. The incentive is paid out once a month upon managements approval and is subject to review and discontinuation at ABoR’s discretion.
