The Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing developing and implementing marketing efforts across the department with an emphasis on licensing, branding, and promotion. Duties for the selected candidate will include:
Create, update and expand website and social media content to improve engagement and visibility.
Develop and lead an integrated approach to media management.
Act as liaison for the dept. with the various university units and constituents outside the University.
Develop and implement marketing and special event planning/management efforts by strengthening and cultivating relationships with university personnel, students, alumni, and the surrounding community.
Assist in development and implementation of programs, policies and objectives related to marketing, ticketing, and other department objectives.
The Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing must also comply with University, Conference and NCAA Division I rules and regulations. The professional responsibilities of this position will necessitate evening and weekend hours. Further duties may be assigned in support of the department’s mission and goals.

-Master's Degree in related field. -Previous work experience in collegiate athletics, preferably in marketing and administration. -Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. -Previous experience managing a marketing staff in an Intercollegiate Athletics setting. -Experience utilizing graphic design programs i.e. Creative Suites. -Sound communication and organization skills. -The intellect, insights, influence, and managerial talent to plan, champion, and execute the oversight of a successful athletics sales and marketing plan.
