Administer multi-business unit SalesForce Marketing Cloud system
Manage external vendo relationships
Stay abreast of Salesforce Marketing Cloud updates and market changes
Monitor deliverability and help to remediate blocks or IP issues
Ensure CAN-SPAM compliance to maintain high deliverability, data hygiene and channel health.
Act as subject matter expert when it comes to email marketing, content management, automation and deployment tools
Manage the email calendar and provide recommendations on strategies that drive engagement without over contacting our subscribers.
Configure and deploy one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven emails, newsletters, campaigns and journeys
Monitor and report on email engagement metrics (opt-outs, open and click-through rates).
Update contact database regularly from various sources
Create and maintain data extension segments and/or data filters
Create and maintain proof lists, seed lists, and suppression lists
Write Ampscript to solve dynamic content requests
Supervise the design, coding and deploying of responsive html emails and campaign templates
Conduct A/B testing to increase open and click-through rates along with conversions.
Create and deploy marketing lead generation forms/landing page capture forms and automated email lead nurturing.
Create and monitor journeys, triggers and automations with static and dynamic content
Work with client and team to obtain final content for email communication
Consult & train internal stakeholders
Ensure quality & timely delivery of emails
When required by management, perform other assignments, projects and duties as tasked.
Reports to Senior Marketing Director.
Supervises Email Marketing Specialist.
Coordinates data collection and maintenance with the SEMA IT and membership departments.
Interfaces with outside vendors and/or agencies relevant to data and email marketing projects.
Interfaces with Marketing, Show and Association staff.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Highly Proficient in email technology (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Exact Target) and 3rd party software services (Litmus, Return Path, etc.)
Comfortable using analytics packages such as Google Analytics
Deep understanding of sales and marketing processes, and best practices
Positive, results-oriented and a can-do attitude
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically.
Impeccable attention to detail, deadlines and accuracy with minimal supervision
Strong written and oral communication skills are required
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Experienced with CRM systems, such as NetForum.
Experienced Microsoft Excel user
Ability to articulate and champion email marketing best practices
Expertise in SFMC Journey Builder, Email Studio, Content Builder is required.
Knowledge of other Marketing Cloud Studios & Builders a plus.
Experience with email triggers, A/B split testing and automating data imports/exports/updates
Experience with data extensions, filter, list segmentation and working with large data sets
Experience implementing dynamic content and personalization within emails
Basic knowledge using SQL queries and understanding concepts of APIs
BA or BS Degree required
