John Barton Company, an established provider of a wide range of jewelry and glass products in Philadelphia has an opening for an experienced and innovative executive to join our team in the role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Our company is in period of rapid expansion and we are seeking an entrepreneurial professional to take a leadership role in for our new divisions including men’s and women’s jewelry, giftware and glass products.
This executive level role within our company will assume responsibility for the following key activities:
Manage and expand current accounts in all levels of distribution (including both foreign and domestic branded and private labels)
Develop new national and regional accounts (including both e-commerce and brick and mortar clients)
Manage our sales team
Jump into the mind of the consumer to help us understand and act upon customer insights and behavior
Provide strategic insight and guidance (see beyond the day-to-day) to reach our sales goals and foster brand loyalty and customer retention
To qualify for this position, candidates must have:
Minimum Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
Minimum of 5 years experiences working with retailers focusing on jewelry and gift items
Established connections with major retailers
Excellent and polished presentation skills
Extensive knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing
Clear leadership capabilities to rapidly refine and expand our sales approach
This position is based out of our corporate office in Philadelphia, with a fair amount of domestic travel required.
