The Marketing Content Coordinator is a principal copywriter and editor for one of several interdisciplinary brand teams in the Office of Communications and Public Affairs at the University of South Carolina. The coordinator provides guidance on brand and strategic messaging alignment to the units that comprise their respective brand team.
The coordinator creates marketing content within defined brand standards and based on sound marketing and communications principles for a range of audiences that builds awareness of, drives engagement with and enhances the reputation of the university and its commitment to academic and research excellence. The coordinator demonstrates expertise in written and visual communication for print and digital channels, including but not limited to video, web, social media and email direct marketing.
The coordinator works independently on projects prioritized by the Associate Director of Integrated Communications and collaborates with colleagues on the brand team and throughout the Office of Communications and Public Affairs on projects that are deemed shared priorities of the academic units and the university.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.
