ASSISTANT CONSUMER MARKETING MANAGER , MIT Technology Review (MITTR) , to provide support for and assist with MITTR's growing consumer revenues, database marketing, and circulation management by servicing its existing audience and finding new ones. Responsibilities will include coordinating, executing, and analyzing online and offline acquisition and retention initiatives to achieve revenue goals and build loyalty; managing the consumer marketing calendar and marketing database; developing knowledge of how technology affects society and business, technology information in the larger media marketplace, and an understanding of MITTR and its audience; supporting overall paid audience growth and brand development strategies in conjunction with other MITTR teams; collaborating with marketing and cross-functional teams to implement, report on, and analyze go-to-market plans, consumer onboarding, engagement, and retention programs; assisting with executing multi-channel revenue activities (e.g., marketing, display and native ads, magazine ads, direct mail); weekly reporting; creating/maintaining ecommerce transaction and landing pages; serving as point-of-contact for marketing database activities and third-party relationships related to consumer marketing initiatives; and other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED : B.A./B.S. in marketing, communications, business, or related area; at least two years' inbound and outbound marketing experience, with an emphasis on digital marketing strategy; familiarity with consumer marketing (revenue generation), preferably within a media organization; excellent organizational, project management, and written and verbal communication and presentation skills; experience with both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of direct response marketing; self-motivation; ability to follow through on projects; and MS Office proficiency. Experience with online and offline acquisition and retention programs preferred. Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with HubSpot or other marketing automation platform a plus. Job #17157-O
