The Marketing and Communication department within Tepper is searching for a Sr. Designer. This is an excellent opportunity if you thrive in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by serving as an integral part of the team in supporting the design and creative services function. You will work both independently and with the Director of Design to encompass all aspects of the creative process supporting the school's branding efforts, as well as specific design (print and digital) for the school and academic programs' ongoing efforts. Specific accountability for design and branding responsibilities extend to undergraduate, masters, Ph.D., Executive Education, fundraising, and institutional school marketing and communication efforts.
Core responsibilities will include:
Design and Production: Produces logos, design layouts, proofs, print-ready/Web-ready art, and design projects as assigned.
Consultation and Support: Advises operating units, faculty members and program leadership and recommends graphic design including photography, images, color, paper, layout, text and options that meet objectives, budget and delivery. Collaborates with colleagues regarding design support for department projects, website, collateral/publications, presentations, signage and general project management. Collaboration should reflect up-to-date design skills and proficiency with critical programs and design software, creative services trends, etc. Consultation may include the development of creative briefs, spec designs, multiple treatment options and one-page project overviews.
Art Direction: Provides direction and travels as necessary for photo shoots, supporting print and digital needs with alumni, students, school leadership/staff and faculty. Will also be called upon to staff press checks.

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, commercial art, or related field required.
Minimum three years of experience in a graphic design-related field required; experience in both design and production highly desired.
Experience with Mac system, QuarkXPress, Adobe Creative Cloud highly desired.
