Geisinger's Social Media Manager will be responsible for defining Geisinger's enterprise social media strategy and overseeing social media channel strategy execution for brand and marketing. Has an expert understanding of paid social execution and analysis, how to pull the levers in channels for engagement vs. direct response and best in class ways to engage and grow a passionate audience within Geisinger's regions. Has track record of rolling up sleeves to get the work done and thrives on analysis to refine how we do it next time. This role will pioneer new approaches and tactics by contributing to enterprise-wide digital strategies and new approaches to brand storytelling. This person is a key leader in planning and execution of paid + local + experiences + retargeting within the broader digital team.
Reports to: System Director, Digital Marketing
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Digital/Design related field. Masters preferred.
Minimum five years applied experience with social media/digital engagement.
Associate degree in same fields plus eight years applied experience with social media/digital engagement.
Social Media: Applied experience managing brand-level social media strategy and execution across system-level social media accounts, content, and channels, and in using enterprise social media engagement capabilities (e.g. Hootsuite).
CMS: Familiarity with enterprise level content management system required. SiteCore and/or Office 365/Sharepoint/Yammer expertise a plus.
