The Director of Content is a content strategist, storyteller and creator who bridges the gaps between marketing strategy and program deployment, ensuring that we reach our audiences in the right channel, at the right time with the right content. The Director works to develop repeatable, systematic approaches to producing amazingly effective content with a methodology that leads to content that performs well with constituencies and takes advantage of automation. This role will work closely with marketing partners throughout the University focused on editorial content strategy, directing with strong project management and collaboration skills to transform static content into a form that’s detailed, intelligent, structured and fluid for reuse. Generates and curates incredible amount of dynamic content that can be re-purposed among multiple channels and platforms. Heads day to day operations of a team of incredibly purposeful storytellers. The Director will oversee a team and be in charge of creating and maintaining editorial calendars, style guides, taxonomies, metadata frameworks and content migration plans. Ensures that technology and content are applied together so that marketing’s contribution to business results are maximized.
