As an integral part of the Trusted Choice staff, the Director of Industry Marketing/Video production is expected to serve as an engaged and involved team member and must have a thorough knowledge of Trusted Choice products and services in order to create consistent communications and drive awareness with a strong foundation in video marketing production.
This position will be responsible for:
Overall Trusted Choice membership strategy and execution with a focus on increased awareness, product positioning, and messaging
Responsible for online presence in social media, web site, and creative marketing design for better product merchandising.
Coordinate marketing communications campaigns
Coordinate and deliver email newsletter campaigns
Promote products and services through public relations initiatives
Provide regular reports summarizing marketing activities and media communications
Manage Marketing Project Manager and oversee interns and temporary staff support
Video production for digital and social media content: Produce, shoot and edit digital and social video content across various platforms, including shooting original content, event recaps, social media content, behind-the-scenes materials, member interviews/testimonials, etc.
Conduct research for upcoming projects and present production plans. This includes developing concepts, pitching projects, and working on mood boards.
Engage external production companies and agencies on selected projects when needed: create project briefs, oversee bidding process, negotiate contracts and manage agency through full production process.
Manage video shoot budgets for projects: Responsible to ensure project comes in on budget. Candidate must have a full understanding of all production expenses and be able to quickly problem-solve.
Work collaboratively with internal and external partners and teams to collaborate on projects and content as well as make sure messaging is consistent to message specific to Trusted Choice as well as across other company divisions.
Ensure all videos are executed to best practices and standards.
Actively participate in industry trade shows, networking receptions, conventions, programs and events, training programs, or other meetings to source content for video and communications and spread awareness of Trusted Choice brand and resources.
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrating industry expertise at key industry events, conferences, and other member meetings.
Engage in ongoing research/industry engagement to ensure current and relevant knowledge of industry trends and challenges
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline required, MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing strongly preferred
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Outstanding communication skills across numerous platforms including written, verbal and multi-media (web, social and video) including fluency with various video formats for Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo and YouTube.
Expert level knowledge of direct marketing strategy and elements needed to support marketing
Exceptional project management skills and experience with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and ability to stay within a budget
Solid business acumen, management and problem-solving skills
3-5+ years of proven experience creating successful online video content, including extensive and intimate knowledge of the workflow process from concept through post-production
2+ years of effective management experience
3+ years experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop CC
Ability to work independently to achieve goals established in a team environment.
Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as MAC OS.
Knowledge of insurance industry a plus
