This professional will serve an integral role in the overall marketing and promotion of Northwestern Athletics with a primary focus on select sport programs. This position will facilitate the development and execution of strategic plans supporting brand awareness, ticket sales and other revenue generating initiatives. They will work closely with all members of the Athletic Department as well as numerous contacts outside the University community.

Serve as the contact from the Marketing department for select cross-functional teams overseeing various sports programs.
Act as the facilitator for all actions of their sport cross-functional teams including the creation and implementation of a comprehensive marketing, ticket sales, social media and public relations plan along with coordinating calendars and timelines.
Act as the gameday event director and producer for their select sports programs which would entail the writing game scripts, directing in-game fan experience elements, working to ensure sponsorship fulfillment and the scheduling and onsite oversight of gameday staff.
Serve as a liaison between the team and the department's community relations area to enhance the profile of the team's involvement in the community.
Assist in the execution of the gameday events for home football and men's basketball games.
Oversight and management of gameday interns to ensure on-field/on-court sponsorship elements are appropriately executed.
Planning and execution of gameday operations for both programs
Assistance in activation of ticket sales initiatives.
Assist with special programs and events for the athletic department such as the Run for Walk, Kids' Club, Meet the Team Night and others.
Serve as the liaison for the marketing department with various constituents on campus.
Responsible for adhering to all Department and University policies and procedures, as well as the rules, regulations, bylaws and interpretations of the Big Ten Conference and the NCAA.
Other duties as assigned.
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
One year of relative experience in advertising, marketing, graphic design, content creation, public relations or other similarly related field.

Proven track record of delivering success in the areas marketing, graphic and web design, content creation, public relations.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across all teams.
