The Manager, Consumer Insights role provides strategic insights, and interpretation of all consumer and brand reserach initiatives.

The Consumer Insights group at Pharmavite operates as more than the "market research" division. We partner with Marketing, R&D, and other cross-functional partners to provide strategic direction and guidance to the firm that is grounded in our intimate and expert understanding of our target consumers.
We are seeking a unique individual who shares our perspective on Consumer Insights. Someone who will take ownership of the businesses on which they work. And finally, we seek someone who can persuade and influence though clear and effective communication among Marketing, cross-functional partners, agency partners, and the Pharmavite leadership team.
This person will serve as the objective consumer voice to guide and influence brand strategy and initiatives that span targeting, positioning, advertising, marketing communications, packaging and product delivery. Responsible for the design, implementation, management, and interpretation and socialization of all consumer and brand research initiatives. Identifies and uses effective consumer research methods to develop true consumer insights. Balances learning needs with fiscal accountability.
Drive competitive advantage through strategy, portfolio renovation, innovation, communications and other consumer initiatives that leverage consumer data and insights.
Uncover, develop and socialize the right portfolio of consumer insights (cultural, category, communications, brand, etc.) that visibly drive the business and the brands.
Design, manage and execute consumer research projects:
Frame the business or brand problem to solve
Articulate the learning needs in a crisp fashion
Fluent in a wide range of research methodologies
Synthesize syndicated data and insights into custom reports.
Co-author research reports and strategy documents with appropriate partners (e.g. research suppliers and marketing partners).
Socialize consumer learning plans and pre-enroll cross-functional partners in consumer research initiatives to drive success in applications of consumer research findings.
Continually drive credibility for the Consumer Insights function among internal and external stakeholders through thoughtful development and application of data, insights and strategy.
Help develop and maintain productive relationships wide bench of research suppliers.
Four year college or university degree required. Master's in Business or Market Research preferred.
3-5 years consumer strategy and insights experience with a major consumer packaged goods company, research supplier, or full-service advertising agency.

Manage supplier selection, activity and work flow to ensure issue-focused, cost efficient, accurate and timely completion of learning
Strong analytical skills with experience/exposure to digital marketing and syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen) preferred
Partnership and Influence
Provide leadership in a collaborative work environment, partnering with marketing, integrated marketing services, syndicated data and agency partners
Strong communication, persuasion and influencing skills both laterally and upward
