Altfest Personal Wealth Management, a leading independent Wealth Management firm, is looking for a qualified intern to join our Marketing Communications team. In this role, you will help drive the firm's communication plan and participate in various stages of print and online marketing communications projects.
You will be working with highly experienced marketing professionals, and reporting to Karen Altfest, Ph.D. CFP® who has been called "One of the Most Distinguished Women in Wealth Management."
You should be prepared to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment, and will gain broad experience in various aspects of marketing communications.
Assist in the creation of newsletters, brochures, email campaigns, marketing collateral, the firm's website, etc.
Assist with event invitations and announcements
Assist with the planning and execution of meetings, events and presentations
Provide support to social media projects and efforts
Provide administrative support to the Marketing Team, Directors and Senior Management
Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
You are a recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications from a top tier school with a high grade point average and strong standardized test scores
You have excellent verbal, written, presentation and proofreading skills
You possess extensive knowledge of the web and social media platforms including LinkedIn and Glassdoor
You are able to multi-task and complete projects within deadlines
You use initiative and work well independently and as a member of a team
You are personable and possess the ability to communicate with all members of staff and clients
You are comfortable working with PowerPoint, WORD and Excel
