To coordinate the development, design, and production of marketing and promotional materials.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop promotional programs to market a specific department or program; assist in identifying target audiences.
Design and produce marketing materials (e.g., newsletters, brochures, flyers, web site, etc.); write press releases and articles; schedule and place advertisements.
Assist in development of strategic marketing plan.
May hire, train, and supervise student staff.
Serve on department, division, and University committees.
Perform related duties as assigned.
LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISION:
May supervise students and/or provide functional guidance of support staff or other employees who work on a project or assignment on a temporary or intermittent basis.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field; two to three years experience in marketing or sales.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of personal computer applications
