Salary Range: $35,000 - $42,000
This position will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer for University Development in areas of executive support, administration and office management. This position will independently implement the systems and procedures required to organize all meetings, projects and activities related to the responsibilities of the Chief Marketing Officer's office. This position will ensure the workflow continues according to office guidelines, independently answering internal and external inquiries using the knowledge and critical thinking necessary to make sound judgments on routine and urgent matters. It will be important for this position to develop a strong working knowledge of all aspects of University Development.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
This individual must be well organized, highly flexible, possess a keen awareness of customer service, and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are a must, including an excellent command of the English language. The individual must have good listening and interpretive skills. This individual must possess good project management skills, the ability to analyze and present data, must be a self-starter and must be able to work independently in order to complete all tasks and duties within prescribed deadlines. This individual must be a detail-oriented, conscientious and self-motivated person with the ability to respond to reporting needs with little to no notification. Must have the ability to determine and ensure compliance with office guidelines, data management, report and document preparation, correspondence, and scheduling. Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access). Good judgment and demonstrated tact and diplomacy are very important. Open communication is essential for this position.
Experience in a higher education and administrative/fundraising environment preferred. Experience using Blackbaud CRM, especially DAVIE.
