Directs all marketing and promotion efforts for each of Clemson's varsity sport programs. Oversees promotions and game management staffing. Prepares marketing plans and establishes budgets. Leads Digital Marketing Efforts.
25%- E- Marketing and Promotions Direction:
Directs all marketing and promotion efforts for each of Clemson's varsity sports including football, men's and women's soccer, volleyball, cross country, men's and women's basketball, baseball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track and field, men's and women's golf and rowing. Prepares marketing plans, conducts meetings with coaches and works directly with other departments to ensure success. Works as game day director for each sporting event.
25%- E- Fan Experience:
Responsible for the Clemson Experience (Fan Experience) at every home athletic events. Coordinates with communications, video, tickets and event management to ensure that the fan experience is a priority at all athletic events. Works directly with Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Multimedia rights holder on the activation of sponsorships as well as providing feedback.
20%- E - Supervision and Budget Oversight:
Manages the hiring of all marketing, promotions and game management staff including two Graduate Assistants, marketing student interns and game management students. Manages the day to day marketing budget and keeps the marketing staff up to date with internal budget reports.
10%- E - Video Board Maintenance & Production:
Oversees all video boards including football, basketball, soccer, volleyball and baseball. Works directly with video board manufacturer on any video board issues. Also creates creative content for all video boards. Must maintain the ability to utilize Adobe Creative suite to create graphics for all marketing functions.
20% - E -Digital Marketing:
Works in conjunction with Athletic Department Personnel to lead the coordination of all aspects of Digital Marketing. Includes but not limited to, email marketing, marketing analytics, retargeting, geo-targeting, utilizing CRM Software and developing a communications calendar.
A bachelor's degree and experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.
Firm Job Knowledge - Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations
No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.
Provides Budget Input - Provides input into the budgeting process, and oversees fund allocation.
