The Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE) seeks a full-time Marketing Associate to plan, create, and coordinate marketing efforts for our Programs Department.
We need a high-energy, highly-organized person who looks forward to working on a variety of different projects every day and has the organizational skill and flexibility to manage change effectively. A typical day might include coordinating customized marketing campaigns for different events; planning and executing direct mail and email campaigns; updating and designing web site content; developing branded collateral for events; analyzing and reporting on the results of marketing initiatives; and developing and cultivating segmented mailing lists. Your efforts will ensure that our continuing legal education programs are creative, delivered to the appropriate audience, and effective.
You’ll work closely with our Program Planner and the Director of Programs to develop marketing messaging that is consistent with each event. You’ll also work closely with the Marketing Associate in our publications department to carefully coordinate marketing, messaging, and strategy and to develop joint marketing campaigns.
This position requires some travel within Illinois (approximately 2 overnights per month).

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field and at least 2 years of relevant work experience; Highly-organized and detail-oriented; Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software, particularly InDesign and Photoshop; Capable and confident writer; Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills; Graphic design experience.
