Posting Summary: The University of Virginia Press seeks a marketing and sales associate to support the marketing of 55-60 new books annually in the areas of American history, literature, architecture, and books about Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the publishing field and participate in a dynamic marketing program. The successful candidate will show exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly deadlines. He/she will also have knowledge of graphic design and the ability to apply design concepts to display and space advertising. Further, he/she will have excellent written communication skills. Anticipated salary between $36,000 - $39,000.
