The Marketing Assistant provides daily support to the entire Marketing & Communications Department to help successfully achieve Lakeland's strategic initiatives, provides proactive patient/customer communication, fulfills information requests, assists with coordinating special events production, and completes other tasks as assigned.
- Coordinate the distribution of all organizational publications, including the HealthCurrents, Lines of Hope, and Physicians News Brief.
- Provide support for the maintenance of content on corporate websites, social media sites, and Pulse NewsLink.
Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
One to two years in healthcare or similar corporate environment preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to adapt to a variety of working styles, work on deadline, and to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format with other departments/individuals.
Form of transportation needed as this job requires visiting all sites for assigned tasks and travel to offsite locations for special events.
Current valid Michigan driver's license
Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.
