This full- or part-time non-exempt position is responsible for supporting marketing and communications-related functions on behalf of Synergy by Association and the Oregon Bankers Association. The Marketing Coordinator works with the Marketing & Communications Director and others in the organization to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Association websites as directed and OBA’s online career center, OBA Career Network.
Manage Association event apps as assigned.
Manage components of the Association database.
Compose and schedule social media posts in accordance with Association strategy.
Utilize email marketing software to create engaging communications.
Produce and ensure timely distribution of electronic publications.
Author articles for Association publications.
Assist with the drafting and distribution of Association news releases.
Assist with associate member development and retention activities, including solicitation and documentation of information in database.
Assist in the selling of advertising and sponsorships.
Develop and update marketing collateral and sales support materials for Synergy programs, OBA education programs and events, and other programs as assigned.
Process invoices and track payments to association partners related to marketing allowances.
Monitor and audit association partners to ensure adherence to marketing plans.
Maintain Synergy online marketing toolkit(s), ensuring materials are updated and loaded in a timely fashion.
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies using statistical data. Provide reporting on key performance metrics, including for web, social media, email, financial and membership.
Serve as back up for reception duties and other administrative functions as assigned.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Marketing & Communications Director or senior management.

Working knowledge of website management, graphic design software and layout concepts. High level of proficiency with Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and photo editing software.
