Rapid Ratings offers ratings, reports, and services based on Financial Health Ratings (FHRs) derived from a company’s financial statements. FHRs are generated by the company’s proprietary quantitative model. The Sales Development Associate will be responsible for specific account and and industry lead generation. The leads will be derived from the associate’s research, contact database, outbound calls, email campaigns and inbound inquiries. He/She will set meetings and conference calls for specific Direct Sales Team Members and help support them advance the sale when required. Ideal candidate has a working knowledge for finance; capital markets, financial reporting, and accounting. The Ideal candidate may have prior sales experience or experience in a sales department. This position has a career track to various positions at Rapid Ratings. We would like to work with an individual who wants to grow as a sales professional in an enterprise sales environment.
This role includes email and phone outreach to organizations as well as follow up correspondence. The candidate will work with applications related to the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management platform. The role is measured on activity, appointments generated, and sales accepted opportunities. The compensation is salary, benefits, and commission compensation for new business closed.

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Hard working self-starter
Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Outlook and Calendar scheduling

Previous sales experience in a lead generation role

Additional Salary Information: The Sales Development Associate base is between $45,000 and $55,000 depending on previous experience. Annual Target Variable Commissions is uncapped and is about $30,000 for 100% of Target Plan Performance.
