Clemson University: College of Business: Marketing Lecturer- Marketing

The Department of Marketing in the College of Business at Clemson University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track position to begin in Spring 2019 (January). The preferred candidate is expected to be hired at the rank of Lecturer or Professor of Practice depending upon qualifications that include education level, academic teaching experience, and industrial work experience. The compensation package is competitive and includes benefits. The position is term-limited and renewable annually based on performance and availability of funding.
Course teaching assignments may vary across semesters. Classes to be taught might include Principles of Marketing, Business-to-Business, Consumer Behavior, Retail Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Professional Selling, Sales Management, and Marketing Strategy. The hired candidate is expected to teach up to four classes per semester (usually two preps) and provide some service to the department, College of Business, Clemson University, and/or the surrounding community.
Applicants, at a minimum, should have earned a Master's degree in Marketing or a strongly related field. If the highest degree earned is a Master's, the applicant must have at least five years work experience preferably in an industrial setting. All applicants should have potential for excellence in teaching, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to teach a wide variety of Marketing classes at the undergraduate level.
