This professional is responsible for working with a team that creates and leads strategic marketing initiatives across multiple businesses, products and sales channels for use with clients, prospects and consultants of the Investment Management Division. This includes developing and curating both web and print materials across a broad range of marketing methods, including campaigns, events, digital marketing, research papers, product collateral and both internal and external communications tools.
Strong consultative and communications skills are important in this role, as well as knowledge of digital marketing and electronic mediums. Solid organisational skills are required to facilitate complex projects across the division. The individual must possess an ability and willingness to work effectively in a team environment and towards tight deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Work on strategic campaigns, educational programs and events, to establish GSAM as the asset manager of choice and strengthen leadership position in thought leadership and investment excellence and build brand awareness of the PWM business across EMEA and Asia-Pacific
Create and continuously improving foundation, channel and product-specific marketing collateral for print and digital execution
Partner with sales and product teams to understand specific commercial objectives in order to develop unique content and positioning
Work closely with various internal constituents, of all levels, including distribution professionals, investment teams, management, compliance, and global marketing team members
Ensure all marketing content is compliant and meets local market regulations
Measure commercial impact of marketing campaigns and collateral
Identify and execute independent projects to enhance team and divisional efficiencies
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
1+ years in a similar role within a leading player in the investment management industry, or a recent university graduate in marketing and/or communications, or related discipline
Fluent English language skills essential and French language skills a definite advantage
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in both English and French (or other European languages)
Understanding of the European asset management industry, products, clients, regulations, competitors
Product and market knowledge and the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a clear, compelling story
Demonstrable track record of working effectively with several teams
Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure, while maintaining extremely high standards
