General Purpose: The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for delivering digital marketing and communications that will increase global awareness of Executive Education programs and drive enrollment for the suite of HKS Executive Education open enrollment programs. Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing and Client Services, the position collaborates closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, multiple digital teams within HKS, an external marketing agency and HKS IT across a wide range of digital platforms aimed at a global audience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
oServe as the principal website contact, working in the Drupal 8 CMS to create new program pages and update existing program pages to support marketing outreach and new program launches
oServe as the organization's point-of-contact to post updated text, imagery, and multimedia to ensure that published content is accurate, optimized and up-to-date
oEnsure that Harvard brand standards are maintained throughout the website
oResponsible for drafting all e-mail marketing content and building outbound broadcast e-mails in both Pardot and iContact email service providers
oManage the department's e-mail marketing schedule
oResponsible for ensuring all e-mail campaigns are error-free and adhere to current SPAM filter requirements
oProactively collect and report-on e-mail marketing data with the goal of improving key performance indicators including open rates and click-thru counts
oFilter and export segmented lists from the Salesforce CRM for targeted marketing outreach; de-dupe lists when necessary to ensure accurate list count
oDevelop and execute strategies for optimizing web content for search
Multimedia and Social Media
oWork with Director of Digital Marketing and Senior Director, Marketing and Client Services on production of online videos featuring Executive Education participants and faculty
oWork with the Director of Digital Marketing to manage content on the the HKSEE Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts
Reporting and Performance Measurement
oCreate custom links to measure website performance and impact of key digital marketing initiatives
oMeasure and report on performance of broadcast e-mails and website traffic, and make recommendations to the marketing team to inform the direction of ongoing digital marketing activity
oWork with Program Directors and faculty to facilitate promotional and educational webinar broadcasts and recordings, and post as multimedia content to the website

Bachelor's Degree and three years of related experience.
Master's Degree a plus; experience in higher education a plus; Experience with Drupal, Salesforce and Pardot a plus. Demonstrated experience in all aspects of CRM platforms, e-mail marketing, SEM/SEO campaign management, Google analytics, and social media, knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web editing tools including Visual Studio and DreamWeaver. Knowledge of video editing software, experience writing and editing copy for electronic communications. Strong project management skills, proven ability to foster relationships with multiple internal and external constituencies, and experience working with a cross-functional team are necessary.
