The American Mint, a world leader in the coins and collectibles industry, is looking for a Director of Marketing to drive the business forward. This individual will oversee all planning, execution and analysis of the company’s direct marketing efforts.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Manage and develop direct marketing team.
Oversee planning, execution and analysis of all marketing efforts including direct mail, space media, package inserts and Internet marketing/e-commerce.
Oversee expansion into new continuity marketing models with a focus on long-term sustainability.
Translate marketing results into actionable insights for Product Development and Advertising Teams in the context of a marketing-oriented business environment.
Act as main point of contact for all marketing-related issues within the company.
Coordinate with global marketing team and sourcing group.
5-10% travel to German, Swiss, or UK offices encouraged but not required.
Education, Skills and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
At least 5 years experience as a Marketing Director or Senior Direct Marketing Manager
Understanding of direct marketing best practices
Strong project management skills
Excellent aptitude for statistical/financial analysis
