The successful candidate for this position
Supports the pigments business in achieving their sales and marketing goals through the planning, execution and measurement of external and internal marketing communications programs with a particular focus on the global cosmetics and printing industries.
Helps to market our offerings towards relevant stakeholders through existing online communications channels such as www.colors-effects.basf.com while actively developing & implementing the business. digital communications strategy.
Coordinates all pigments related media relations.
Collaborates and aligns efforts with global communications team members.
Supports local employee communication at North American sites.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, with trackable success in managing digital or media campaigns
Ability to work independently across regions and time zones
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Preferred industry knowledge of cosmetics, printing or chemicals
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; capable of translating technical information into understandable content meeting the audiences' needs
Strong influencing and impact skills
Demonstrated communications skills, including plan development and objective setting; presentation skills; and newswriting
Proven ability to manage sensitive information and topics
