POSITION SUMMARY: The manager of marketing and program development plays a key role in the conceptualization and execution of the association’s efforts to generate awareness of, participation in, and revenue from America’s Essential Hospitals’ membership, events, programs, and corporate relations. Working collaboratively across the organization, he/she develops and executes marketing campaigns and business strategies that will increase membership, drive non-dues revenue and grow mission critical products and programs.
REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing and Business Development
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, execute, and measure the success of marketing and promotional campaigns. This position is responsible for the creation and management of marketing plans that utilize email marketing, direct mail, personal outreach, and social media.
Manage assigned marketing and product development projects to increase revenue growth and member engagement. Track, analyze, and integrate results into future plans.
Seek creative new channels and targeted content to optimize marketing efforts.
Develop and manage campaigns to enhance product and program brand while communicating complex healthcare information in a clear and compelling way.
As part of a cross-departmental team, lead marketing components of product and program launch strategies.
Collaborate with the communications team on website strategy, messaging and content development as it relates to products, programs, and corporate partnerships.
Establish and maintain a monthly dashboard which identifies and analyzes key marketing measurements, program and product outcomes, and other relevant targets/goals.
Working closely with the Director, develop an annual corporate relations framework, renew existing partners, secure new partners, and deliver superior corporate partner benefits through tactical execution.
Ensure fulfillment of corporate member and sponsor deliverables.
Monitor delivery and consumption of benefits to help identify and address issues with partner satisfaction and value.
Participate in annual corporate membership outreach to retain current members, identify prospects and contract new members.
Identify creative and meaningful connections between corporate members/sponsors and hospital members that highlight innovative services and collaborations with member hospitals.
As assigned, manage sponsorship relationships for specific events to achieve revenue goals.
Serve as key member of cross-departmental team working on program development objectives.
Support efforts to develop new products and programs, including market research, pricing, financial modeling, and other related business aspects.
Identify opportunities to integrate new product lines with existing programs and services.
Collaborate with other departments to deliver member/stakeholder value, achieve revenue goals and advance the association’s mission.
Accountable for product life cycle areas as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, marketing or related field; Master’s in business or public health a plus.
5-7 years' work experience that includes at least 3 years' experience in an association or in a health-related/medical organization.
Strong background in marketing and hands-on experience with email, social media and content marketing.
Proven success in developing marketing/promotions campaigns that produce quantifiable outcomes.
Experience in building business strategy and driving strategy implementation.
