Professor of Marketing
University of Mobile
University of Mobile is seeking a dynamic individual for a full-time, 9 month, tenure-track position to teach courses in Marketing. The candidate should have an earned doctoral degree (ABDs considered) and a desire for service/research. Responsibilities include teaching courses, mentoring students, and participating in service to the University. The School of Business at University of Mobile seeks to embark on a student-devoted development process that engages the mind and spirit in a Christ-centered environment, utilizing forward-leaning business theory and practice that prepares one for a lifetime of professional service. We currently offer an MBA program for graduate students and at the undergraduate level majors include accounting, business administration, integrated marketing communications, and management, with two new programs under review. Concentrations within the School of Business currently include finance, with the possible addition of other programs beginning in Fall 2019. Our average class size is 14 students, thus creating an opportunity for faculty to serve in both a teaching and mentoring role for the students. The School of Business has a new and active Advisory Council that is working to better connect student experience in the work community through mentorship, internships, and programming. The programs of the School of Business at University of Mobile are accredited by ACBSP.
