This hands-on position is involved in developing and executing marketing strategies for new and existing products to drive sales growth. The position will help support product innovation, support new product and program launches, and combat competitive pressures. The position may analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program/project budgets. Primary Responsibilities:Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies and tactics that generate new leads and opportunities Analyze complex data and information to create meaningful marketing narratives that help tell the brand story Write and edit content for marketing materials, websites, direct mail, client communications, and strategic documents Design marketing materials including flyers, direct mail, presentations, banners, and web graphics for both B2B and B2C audiences Manage day-to-day aspects of marketing campaigns and other marketing projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality deliverables Develop cross-functional partnerships with internal and external teams and stakeholders Provide excellent service to clients and manage expectations by knowing project details and keeping projects moving smoothly Manage vendor relationships and plan for resources to deliver work on a timely basis
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree 8+ years Marketing Communications experience 5+ years of business to business and/or business to consumer marketing experience 8+ years of experience writing content for marketing materials including websites, brochures, videos, postcards, flyers, etc. Microsoft Office suite (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) experience Adobe Acrobat experience 5+ years Experience designing marketing materials and web graphics Project Management and planning experience 2+ years of direct mail experience Preferred Qualifications:Masters Degree 2+ years experience with website content management Knowledge of SEO and SEM Experience creating videos Experience with e-commerce and e-marketing campaigns including social media Experience in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop Health care experience 5+ years working with a marketing agencyCareers with Optum.
