The Ohio South Youth Soccer Organization (OSYSA) is seeking an experienced Membership Services & Brand Marketing Manager to manage key member projects including overseeing the effective implementation and management of U.S. Soccer Connect. This nationwide registration platform will be available for all of OSYSA’s membership beginning in time for registration prior to the 2018-19 play season. In addition, oversee and direct a statewide branding campaign through social and traditional media, and generate potential advertising revenue streams in these same platforms.
The ideal candidate would be able to start January 1, 2018 and work out of the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association office in Milford, Ohio.
-Coordinating initial configuration, discovery, statement of work, and future functionality needed for both OSYSA and their members with U.S. Soccer Connect technology provider, Blue Star Sports.
-Communicating the upcoming registration changes (e.g. the first ever issued U.S. Soccer ID #) and the benefits of U.S. Soccer Connect to their membership.
-Ensuring integrity of data and member data is submitted through the National Data Center using U.S. Soccer Connect
-Leading educational opportunities (meetings, webinars, calls, etc.) about U.S. Soccer Connect for OSYSA league members, and where appropriate, clubs.
-Be proficient in the use of social and traditional media to brand OSYSA and member leagues to clubs, parents and players in Ohio South
-Seek out revenue seeking potential in social and traditional media platforms
-Be available to attend OSYSA, member leagues, and clubs to video and post news items via social media channels; “Tell the Story of OSYSA & Its Members”
-Registration and Membership Services Manager should have some knowledge in database management and feels comfortable with technology. Having participated in youth sports or volunteer member organizations is a plus. The Registration and Membership Services Manager should know OSYSA’s and league members registration policies and various OSYSA program rules (e.g. State Cups, State league, ODP, etc) to be able to communicate the needs of the system.
-Serve as staff resource for state registration to include maintaining data base of registrars, players and teams. Develop queries and reports as required. Coordinate all requests for database information including membership mailing lists. Responsible for accuracy of data, reporting, etc.
-Prepare and submit required membership reports to national governing bodies.
-Provide administrative support to include preparing correspondence, reports and presentations as directed.
-Participate as a team member in providing exceptional customer service to the member leagues, clubs, families and players served by OSYSA.
-Participate in other OSYSA programs and activities as assigned to fulfill the OSYSA mission.

Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software, web technologies and maintaining a database
Excellent client/member-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including WORD, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Must be proficient in social media including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
Comfortable with video shooting and editing using smart phone or other technology
Demonstrated organization, multi-tasking and project management skills required
Ability to work in a team based environment with a diverse group of individuals
Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard company funds and property
