The American Institute of Physics (AIP) is seeking an experienced Marketing and Communication Manager who will have advanced knowledge and in-depth understanding to manage and execute marketing and communication strategies for AIP programs, products, and services. The ideal candidate will meet organizational goals by maximizing revenue sources, strengthening brand awareness, and market positioning. He/she will manage the production of print and digital components of various campaigns and projects; manage and execute marketing and communication strategies to promote the value of membership to Member Society leaders and members, as well as provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff.
Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience of proven success in executing marketing and market research efforts, preferably with non-Profit and/or scientific focused required.
Bachelor’s degree in in Marketing, Communication, or related field.
Strong analytical skills.
Creative and collaborative.
Attentive customer focus for both AIP internal stakeholders and external MS and vendor relationships.
Strong computer skills.
Experience in web development and multimedia tools.
Well-organized and detail oriented with project management experience.
