Saint Mary’s College invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Admissions-Marketing, Graduate Programs. Working closely with the Dean of Graduate Studies, Director of Admission-Graduate Programs, and in consultation with Marketing and Communications, the Assistant Director develops and implements content strategies to increase the exposure, awareness, and understanding of the College’s graduate programs, as well as, assist with lead generation and follow-up. The Assistant Director performs a variety of design, writing, editing, print, media relations, social media, and web content management activities to support these efforts. This Assistant Director will also assist with representing Graduate Programs at on and off campus recruitment events. This is a full-time, exempt level position.
QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. Additionally, a successful candidate will possess: a minimum of three years of related work experience providing content for web and traditional media (preferably within higher education); the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines; the ability to work independently and as a member of a team; strong interpersonal skills including exceptional written and verbal communications skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign/Creative Suite; experience with web content management systems (preferably Drupal); demonstrated ability to manage multiple social media platforms and generate/curate content relevant and engaging for each channel; significant experience with digital marketing strategies; experience creating and leveraging short video content across multiple platforms; and excellent customer service skills.
