The Manager of Clinical Research Marketing, will oversee departmental clinical research marketing, recruitment and participant communications. This includes assisting in the development and implementation strategies that promote recruitment and maximize enrollment into clinical research studies. This individual will manage the production of all department publications and website, social media, digital advertising participants’ communications. The individual will create participant and program recognition vehicles to celebrate individual and group achievements; assist staff in evaluating participants’ satisfaction relating to research programs, facilities and services; assist in resolving participants’ concerns; and promote participant retention. The position also oversees community relations and external partnerships/sponsorships.
Working Conditions: Willingness and ability to work some evenings and weekends.
Responsible for designing, creating, and delivering comprehensive marketing programs and strategies to support the growth, expansion, and celebration of clinical research facilities, programs, services, and participant achievements. Determine and develop all departmental print and advertising.
Utilize the NUCATS Electronic Data Warehouse (EDW) in order to maximize recruitment; implement program to follow-up appropriately on all leads generated from EDW
Maintain and update clinical research registry in REDCap. Utilize existing registry as a resource for participants’ recruitment.
Develop the departmental clinical research website. Implement web technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Develop strategy for targeted marketing publications including e-communications, app maintenance and enhancement, and facility digital signage. Responsible for data extraction, list or lead generation, or evaluating effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Collect and analyze data related to social media marketing campaigns. Assist in identifying the appropriate social media channels to expand the clinical research program tailors campaigns to the appropriate target audience. Track performance of various social media initiatives and develop/implement changes to improve goals and objectives. Stay abreast of changes in the market place to best serve the objectives of the department and adjusts plans accordingly.
Recommend an annual budget for division marketing, recruitment and sales.

Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's in Marketing or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
Two years clinical research related marketing and recruitment experience.
Ability to demonstrate strong independence and discretion.

Communicates effectively one-to-one, in small groups and in public speaking contexts; writes precise, well-organized emails, letters and proposals while using appropriate vocabulary and grammar.

Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
Website management experience.
Digital advertising experience.
Experience in graphic design.
CPR/First Aid certification.
